About Luxury Adventures
Luxury Adventures is a DMC for B2B in Nordic countries operating customized journeys for FITs, Groups, and MICE since 2003. From the moment clients land until their departure, we handle all of their travel needs.
We handle all planning, transportation, accommodation, dining and activities, and maintain a staff of expert drivers/guides fluent in many languages to ensure clear communication and client comfort.
Who We Are
Luxury Adventures is a family business run by Olafur Thorgrimsson and Linda Palsdottir. Their passion for travel and immersing themselves in nature, coupled with their business and guiding backgrounds is what led them to start Luxury Adventures in 2003, together with Olafur’s parents, Thorgrimur Olafsson and Solveig Olafsdottir. They have seen the Nordics and Scandinavia go from being obscure locales to becoming the hippest places on the planet to visit.
When not traveling across the Nordics and Scandinavia to deepen their already extensive knowledge of the regions by searching out new and interesting adventures, Olafur and Linda can be found trekking through the highlands in super jeeps or on horseback. Having a background in breeding Icelandic horses and a love of exploration, they can say, beyond the shadow of a doubt that touring on horseback is where it’s at.
Olafur and Linda take immense pride in managing and executing unique luxury travel experiences for every one of their clients.

After more than two decades of operating in Scandinavian and Nordic luxury travel, we know the ins and outs of the business. We are highly responsive and detailed in our communications and operations follow-through. Itineraries come complete with cost breakdowns and can be adjusted to meet client budgets. Clients can choose fully-guided or partially-guided services at the comfort and luxury level.
We specialize in Nordic and Scandinavian countries and take our time to travel these regions ourselves, finding new journeys and experiences for clients, some of which are five star properties and some are none-rated, but both can provide amazing and unique experiences when located in stunning landscapes.

In addition, we operate our own transportation fleet, luxury base camps and variety of activities to ensure the utmost density in our itineraries. Luxury Adventures is a DMC and the ground operation handler maintaining a multilingual staff of expert driver/guides located all across the Nordics.

Our Guarantees
Agents can feel confident that our rates are reasonable and requests are quoted on original contract rates. While accommodation pricing may fluctuate due to BAR rates we guarantee the final accommodation rate will be lower than the BAR rate on the day of confirmation if you see lower rates online.
