Luxury Adventures has been in operation since 2003 and is a fully licensed Travel Agency by the Icelandic Tourist Board.

The Icelandic Tourist Board is an independent authority under the Ministry of Industries and Innovation. Its activities are regulated through the Tourism Administration Act, with the overall authority in the hands of the Minister of Industry.

The registration and issuance of operation licenses are among the tasks of the Icelandic Tourist Board. In this rapidly growing industry, professionalism is an essential requirement of operations. The conditions stipulated by law are a part of improving the quality of Icelandic tourism and securing consumer protection within the tourism industry.
